• User Content means photos, images, text, food entries, descriptions, metadata, or other inputs You upload or submit through the Service.

• You means the individual using the Service or the organization on whose behalf the Service is used.

2.2 Health and Nutrition Data

To provide calorie estimation, macro tracking, and nutrition features, We collect:

• Weight entries and weight history
• Height
• Food logs and food data (including items photographed, described in text, scanned via barcode, or logged manually)
• Macro and calorie goals
• Water intake logs
• Exercise entries
• Nutrition goals and dietary preferences
• Any other health information You choose to enter into the Application

You decide which health information to provide. The Service cannot function properly without basic nutrition data, such as food entries and goals.

2.3 User Content (Including Photos)

User Content includes:

• Photos of food uploaded for AI-powered calorie and macro analysis
• Text descriptions of meals submitted for AI analysis
• Barcode scans of packaged foods
• Manual food entries and notes

Important: Food photos and descriptions you submit are sent to OpenAI's API for analysis. We do not store your photos with OpenAI beyond the API call. We may use anonymized or aggregated food data to improve Our models, algorithms, and product features. We do not associate such data with Your identity when used for internal development.

2.4 Third-Party Integration Data

If You choose to connect third-party integrations, We may collect data from those services:

• Withings: Body weight measurements, body composition data (if connected)
• Strava: Activity and exercise data, workout history (if connected)

These integrations are optional. You may disconnect them at any time through the integrations settings in the Application. We access only the data necessary to provide the integration features.

2.5 Usage Data

We automatically collect:

• Device type, operating system, and browser version
• IP address
• Time stamps and activity logs
• Crash data
• Feature usage analytics
• Performance data

This data helps Us secure, improve, and optimize the Service.

2.6 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, functionality, and analytics. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregated, privacy-respecting usage analytics. Authentication cookies are managed by Clerk, our authentication provider.

We use food data and related User Content to:

• Improve accuracy of macro and calorie estimates
• Enhance overall product performance

Such use is strictly anonymized or aggregated and not linked to Your identity.

5.1 Service Providers

With vendors who support the Service, including:

• Clerk — authentication, account management, and session handling. Clerk processes your email address and account credentials.
• Supabase — database storage for your food logs, weight entries, goals, and all app data. Hosted on AWS infrastructure.
• OpenAI — AI-powered food photo analysis, meal description analysis, nutrition coaching, and meal planning. Food photos and descriptions are sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI does not retain your data for training by default under our API agreement.
• Vercel — web hosting, deployment, and aggregated analytics.
• Withings — if You connect your Withings account, weight and body composition data is synced from Withings to Vibe Dieting.
• Strava — if You connect your Strava account, activity and exercise data is synced from Strava to Vibe Dieting.

5.2 Business Transfers

As part of corporate transactions.

With law enforcement or regulators when legally required.

5.4 With Your Consent

Where You direct Us to share information.

5.5 Aggregated or Anonymized Data

We may share aggregated or non-identifiable data for analytics, research, or business purposes. We do not sell Your Personal Data.

6. User Content and License Rights

By submitting User Content, You grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, store, process, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works from Your User Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including internal AI model improvement.

We do not publicly display Your food photos or personal content without Your express consent.

7. Retention of Data

We retain:

• Personal Data for as long as Your Account is active or necessary for the purposes described
• Health Data (food logs, weight entries, goals) until You delete it or delete Your Account
• Usage Data for a shorter period unless needed for security
• Backups for limited periods as part of standard retention practices

We delete or anonymize data when no longer needed unless legally required to retain it.

8. Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed on servers outside Your jurisdiction. Our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel, OpenAI, Clerk) are primarily based in the United States. We implement safeguards as required by law, including standard contractual clauses for international transfers.

Depending on Your jurisdiction, You may have rights to:

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, authentication controls via Clerk, and access restrictions. However, no online system is entirely secure. We encourage You to use a strong, unique password for Your account.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If You believe We have inadvertently collected such information, please contact Us immediately at vibedieting@lembo.email.

13. Third-Party Links and Integrations

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services, including Withings and Strava. Their privacy practices are their own, and We do not control or endorse them. We encourage You to review the privacy policies of any third-party services You connect to Vibe Dieting.
